Capt. Rob and his father Capt. Roland are life long Alaskan fishermen. Both are insured and licensed masters with the United States Coast Guard. As we travel to the fishing grounds Capt. Rob and Roland take all the precautions for a safe and fun trip.

     The boat, “Short Circuit”, is a very comfortable and fast (cruise 22 knts) Sportfishing Yacht.  The twin diesel engines with two house generators, on board water maker, ice maker, satellite navigation, state of the art fish finding sonar, vhf, and long-range single-side band radio, provide us with the comfort and ability to stay out to sea for days.

     More important than all the electronics, Capt. Rob and Roland have spent 1000’s of hours upon the gulf coast waters. Knowledge of the area for safety, and especially the hot spots for fish, make this duo hard to beat. With over 55 years of commercial and sport fishing in Alaska, they have the knowledge to provide you with a safe and successful trip. Don’t run to Homer every night; Come and spend the nights with us as we dine in peace while watching bears and mountain goats.

     We have limited trips each year, so book early. All our clients enjoy the small group setting with the ability to customize their trip. Nights are spent in quiet protected bays and coves with bear viewing trips to shore.
